Marcus Is originally from Magencia where from about the age of 7 was a Mages apprentice until about 16 years old. (with absolutely no aptitude, Thus switching master frequently. Each placing a brand upon his body. Some 20 or more brands litter his body) He then Moved to Vesper and took to sailing small, fast, low draft ships until getting into militia duties....
