All it does, is adds an event name on the trackable calender, and displays it in 'Today's Events' at the bottom of the forum; it also links to the thread you create under it's name. When holding a pre-planned event, click 'CALENDER' at the top of the forum, and insert the name of the event, and the date when it will take place. (No time/date is required in the event title) Once posted, you will have a 'Create New Thread' message window appear, which will be placed in the event forum; create the thread as usual. It's just that I find a calendar much easier to check than a sub-forum, and often I see tonnes of events in the event board, but the calender says nothing's going on. - Graem |
