Dermott is the son of Gregor Eason. He still remains relatively young and has already advanced considerable in his combat skills and martial prowess. His initial recruitment to the Covian Army saw a major delay when Dermott and Gregor fell out entirely; leading to Dermott's initial career as a Skara Brae Ranger. However, the two are now on more agreeable terms, and whilst Gregor does not attend any of Dermott’s ceremonies he at the very least permits him membership to the Covian guardsmen. The persistent reasoning for their estranged state is unknown.
Dermott grew up in a tavern in Britain rarely knowing his father. He was raised by a kind and gentle barkeep lady who above all taught him the morals of the world around him; as well as hiding at short notice. Dermott, like his father, takes little to the religion forced upon him – but instead encourages a recognition and discovery of the Soul. Philosophy has often served Dermott well, and his keen intellect will no doubt make him a worthy asset to the Covian Army.
