Title: A New Fur Rug For The Barracks
Post by: Raiden Morana on February 10, 2008, 02:28:45 pm
Attended by:

Raiden, Grenadier Captain.
Hoagie, Sergeant.
Delcarakdur, Regular Guardsman (leading)
Justice, Guardsman Recruit. (donated 3,000gp to the coffers)

As we lined up outside the barracks Delc' observed that the fur rugs inside were a little worse for wear. "And they stink!" added Justice. Therefore we would head out to Trinsic in search of a cave that is home to some ferocious bears and trogladytes.

We force marched to the Minoc portal and headed to Trinsic, again force marching to the cave. Guardsman Recruit Justice volunteered to act as bait to draw out the giant bear as the rest of us formed up and made ready.

Justice raced back with the bear and a party of trogs' in pursuit. We hacked the beast to the ground and then made short work of it's followers. Delc' skinned the beast and with the fur stuffed into his pack Delcarakdur gave the order to show the rest of the cave's inhabitants Covian power.

With the cave clear and corpses piled high we made our way back to the entrance where Justice created a portal so we could step through to the barracks. We piled up the loot and were given our shares, with Justice donating her's to the army.

Another Covian Victory!

Hoagie stood alone with the rug after everyone else had left.

"Delc? Delc?! Where d'ye want this bloody rug?!"

After one last look around, he shrugged and carried it home.
