Title: Sosarian Olympic Games! Post by: Radek Wilkes on March 18, 2008, 04:32:33 pm (http://i64.photobucket.com/albums/h200/Onomatopoeia_photos/V-VTC.jpg) Sunday 23rd - Sunday 30th Vesper is set to host the first of many Olympic Games in Sosaria. People from all over the world are invited to take part in the games for the week-long event where it'll show that despite we're living in a world of war and conflict, we can put differences aside and have some harmless competitive fun. So this is a formal invitation from the Baron of Vesper himself, asking you to join us, and importantly - have fun. The only rule for you to take part in the Olympics is that you must be part of a 3-man team at least. Anymore then three in your team is allowed, any less and you wont be entered to take part. All members are allowed to take part in the games, as a team - or alone. The more of you that take part, the more chance of winning the high score and gaining the star prize for winning the Olympics. The prizes for individual competitions are as follow; 1st place - Gold Sash and 100,000 gold. 2nd place - Silver Sash and 50,000 gold. 3rd place - Bronze Sash and 25,000gold. The overall winning team of the Olympics will win the following; A Golden Sword and 1,000,000 gold. What Games Are There? There will be a total of ten games available for people to take part in, all of which have fantastic prizes to win. Boxing Triathlon Relay Darts Archery Jousting Summoning Duels Cow Tipping Bagball Last Man Standing Tournament The opening ceremony will begin on Sunday the 23rd of March at 8pm. If you're team wishes to compete, you must turn up to the ceremony and put your team, and idividuals names down. You must also have your own team colour, and stay true to this colour throughout the week. If you want any chance in winning the grand prize, it's suggested you take part in ALL events to stand a chance. Results that will effect the overall leaderboard will be based on what medals you team wins. Winning a gold will give your team three points, silver will give two and Bronze gives one. So the more competitors you have from your team, the better chance you have to win! Simple as! Sunday's parade will be held at half past the seventh hour so anyone wanting ter compete can attend the opening ceremony at 8pm. All contestants must wear Covian colours! The Covian kilt and a top dyed Covian Tan. Also note that ye are representing the people of Cove and as such I expect yer to uphold the honour of our fair town. The Covian team so far is: Hoagie, Sergeant. Ludwik Bloodaxe, Guardsman Recruit Kal ShadowHand, Regular Scout Perrin, Junior Guardsman Go-Hei, Guardsman Recruit As I understand it the events are as follows: Sunday 23rd March - 8pm GMT - Opening Ceremony All available representatives of the Covian team must attend to opening ceremony with details of who is entering what event. Monday 24th March - 8pm GMT - Boxing Hoagie, Sergeant. Tuesday 25th March - 7pm GMT - Darts, 8pm GMT - Archery Darts: Hoagie, Sergeant. Archery: .... Wednesday 26th March - 8pm GMT - Bagball Hoagie, Sergeant. Perrin, Junior Guardsman. Go-Hei, Guardsman Recruit. Thursday 27th March - 9pm GMT - Jousting Kal ShaodwHand, Regular Scout. Hoagie, Sergeant. Friday 28th March - ?? GMT - Last Man Standing Hoagie, Sergeant. Kal ShadowHand, Regular Scout. Saturday 29th March - 7pm GMT - Relay Race, 8pm GMT - Cow Tipping, 8.30pm GMT - Summon Duel Relay Race: .... .... .... Cow Tipping: ... Summon Duel: .... Sunday 30th March - 8pm Triathlon, 9pm GMT - Closing Ceremony Ludwik Bloodaxe, Guardsman Recruit. For a Covian team ter be entered we need at least 3 participants for the events listed above. Be sure ter only sign up fer events that ye have a good chance of attending. Ye may sign up fer more than one event but remember that we need a team of at least 3 Covians.
