Title: Ash and other special woods Post by: Samuel West on April 13, 2008, 10:37:21 pm I was just wondering if we can use weapons made from Ash and other special woods yet, or are we still restricted. I couldn't find it mentioned in the guild rules.

I think it's Yew wood that gives extra ssi for gm bows etc. so for reasons such as that they are banned. However, Heartwood (i think - perhaps someone can confirm) which gives a "chance" of a random mod has been allowed for bows as it makes them dyeable with the Tokuno dyes, as long as there is no mod on the bow.
