However, this relaxed atmosphere was soon to be demolished. Kelly lifted her chin to see Father Siegfried beckoning Mr. Jarl from his stall he had, leading him into the cells of the Barracks.
The branding had begun. Mr. Jarl was released from the room minutes later looking pale, worn and ill. An apology would have to come later.
