Title: Armour restrictions for civilians? Post by: Maccen on July 18, 2008, 10:41:49 am Just wondering if Civilians have armour restirctions that go beyond no magic/runics/enhanced, etc.
I'm wondering if certai nresistances must be below certain limits or if there are material lmitations. Seeing as my character is a hunter and intends to fight the vanguard in hope of collecting bounties.... Armour might become a neccesity. Thanks in advance for the assistance! Post by: Graem Carcer on July 18, 2008, 11:01:07 am I'll find out the specifics for you, as I don't know them off by heart, but I imagine a rough guideline would be to be fitting to your character, and don't go mad.
For instance, a citizen won't walk around in chainmail, let alone platemail, but a woodsman may wear full leather, or a hunter, parts of studded armour etc. Title: Re: Armour restrictions for civilians? Post by: Eve Thenasa on July 18, 2008, 11:03:53 am We should not have civilians running around being mistaken as guardsmen! No metal armour is allowed, however you may use plain coloured leather, as long as it follows the no magic/runic/enhanced rules. I will update the information on the citizen announcement board. Please also note the following;-
Quote 1. The following items are classed as tools and/or lower class items and may be used by all citizen members: Pitchfork, club, cleaver, butchers knife, staff, gnarled staff, hatchet, scythe, bow. 2. No citizen may engage in PvP unless told otherwise. Situations may arise where the Baron calls the citizens to arms and they will be allowed to defend themselves and these will be specified prior to engagement with any enemy force. Citizens may also apply to have a license to PvP which will be handled by BoC command on a case by case basis. Title: Re: Armour restrictions for civilians?
