Covian Hunt Turned Into Covian Search and Rescue

Well Ah received a pigeon from my Grenadier Corporal tha' there was a 'unt goin' on t'is eve teh Ilshinar. So bein' teh hardy hunter tha' Ah am, Ah gathered meh equipment an' 'eaded to teh barracks teh prepare. So there we stand waitin' fer Sir Raiden teh arrive. Jus' twidlin' our thumbs an' humin' tunes. Finally 'e comes an' gets us readeh fer travel. So we prepare an' 'e explain's wha' will 'appen. When out o' nowhere t'is Trinny gal comes runnin' along wit' news o' some sort o' kidnappin' o' some sorts. Teh thin' tha' caught our attention was tha' teh man captured was a Covian! So o' course we were goin' in teh t'is mysterious man's aid.

So we were off teh Ilshinar's Humility shrine. As we arrived Gwen knew teh way. So off through Ilshinar's nasty yet quiet jungle we crept. Slayin' Reaper tree's an' Lizardmen o' great amounts. Covian blades an' arrows sliced through like a knife through Yewish skin. As we fought our way to teh lair o' where t'is man was 'eld captive. We prepared for wha'evah we could imagine. For nothin' will stand in our way. In teh name o' teh Baron an' Cove! Losin' Kal a couple times on teh way too might Ah add. Him an' 'is damn shadow 'idin' Ah tell yeh.

So we slayed goldies an' other nasties all along teh way. Even a golden toad! Bu' finally we found an entrance believed teh be teh entrance to Grief's 'ouse. T'was covered in bones an' blood. Lucky no 'cruits were wit' us. Teh sight woulda scared 'em away fer goo'. So we bravely walked through battlin' more lizardmen, an' imp's, an' all sorts o' nasty t'ings. We ran inteh some golden Fire elementals, an' some air elementals. Bu' none o' tha' would stop Covians wit' a Goal eh? We even walked through a Poison Elemental. An' those are one of teh nasties' nasty's. *Nods*
So pushin' through, we came to teh entrance o' teh dungeon we shall recover our fallen comrad from.

So we go in teh find a welcome party o' imp's, gazer's, bone mage's, mummy's, skeleton's, skeleton knight's, an' all tha' sorts. Bu' were they a challenge to us? well maybe teh Marcus, bu' nay fer teh rest. Jus' kiddin' Watchman, ye' did well. So we pushed through wit' ease an' started checkin' doors. Our brave leader tried to kick in a door tha' ye' 'ad teh pull to open. Tha's when Ah started teh rethink followin' 'im. *Nods* Bu' Ah pu' meh trus' in 'im an' kept on. So as we checked all rooms an' cell's, hope started teh grow weak, bu' we still 'ad teh push on, fer all our fallen Covian's.

Well aftah openin' many door's we wished nay teh open. An' followin' direction's an' gettin' lost a couple times. We finally hit teh jackpot! We peered in t'is one cell teh find a man fightin' off a skeleton, so we quickly burst through teh save 'is day. We destroyed 'is enemy wit' one blow and asked teh man some questions. 'e 'id 'is face at firs', nobodeh knows why, bu' soon we all came to realize who t'is fallen Covian was. Runnin' through meh mind, Ah nay knew if i' was dark majyk or Covian Will tha' kept 'is soul goin'. Nobodeh know's 'ow 'e survived soo long alone in a cell. T'was a true miracle to find, sittin' in a corner in teh middle of nowhere, teh great Vince Valentine. We all 'ad a great li'l reunion when Gwen reminded us tha' we were still in the presence o' danger. So we gathered Vince an' lead 'im out in teh true Covian style. We cleared 'is path to teh outside an' through teh jungle to teh closest moongate. Ye' could tell 'ow 'appy 'e was teh be free an' in teh presence o' 'is bes' friends. Who'm Ahm sure 'e ne'er thought 'e'd see again.

At teh moongate Kas met us. We quickly gathered Vince some ale an a stool teh sit. As 'e sat a million question's started teh pour ou' of e'rybodehs mouth, We soon realized Vince is surely too tired fer t'is at teh moment. So we 'eaded back teh Minoc, then 'ad Kas gate us 'ome.

So we returned 'ome wit' teh grandes' prize of 'em all. Our best friend Vince Valentine. Raiden go' generous an' le' us keep our loot. Bu' tha' nay mattered wit' Vince aroun'. Ah'm sure none of us can wait fer 'im teh ge' back in 'is bronze arms an' turn tha' grin tha' wins e'rybodeh over on. Tonigh' is a true landmark moment fer Cove. Returnin' from teh Dead. Tha' shows true Covian Will. Grand teh 'ave ye' back ol' mentor. Can nay wait teh figh' by yer side once again. Fer Cove! Fer teh Baron! Fer Grenadiers! an' fer Vince Valentine!

Glad to have you back within the Covian fold Vince, sorry I couldn't provide more assistance with your rescue attempt, but nevertheless it was a wonderful thing to see you safe and sound. I look forward to fighting and serving at your side as the days go on, not to mention sponge all the drinks you doubtless owe.
