William was born and raised at a small farm in the outskirks of Cove, and his family, although mere peasants, have always been loyal to the Baronship.

He was never cut out to be a farmer however, and in his mid-teens he left Cove in search of glory, riches and his true self. Will eventually made his way to the island of Magincia, where he studied under many a master mage. He served a lengthy spell as a soldier for the Council of Mages in the faction wars, and his normal appearance conceals both a battle-hardened magician and several old scars.

These years at war have made William an exceptionally skilled war-mage, and few surpass him in the art of hurting an opponent by magical means!

After years of fighting for a cause that was not his own he heard rumours of trouble and hard times in Cove, and decided to set sails back to his old home. His family has long since passed away, but his love for Cove, loyalty towards the Baron and lack of any real purpose has made him join the militia at a considerable age for a recruit.

You will often find Will buried in his own thoughts or inscribing magical scrolls, but if you stick around and catch his interest you may be lucky enough to hear one of the intriguing stories from his time at war in Magincia.
