Title: (REPORT) Parade and Battle Drill Post by: Marcus Kobra on October 20, 2008, 09:21:50 am LEADING:
Marcus Kobra, Junior Guardsman ATTENDING: Hoagie Grayner, Sergeant Kas Valentine, Regular Guardsman Delferium, Watchman (Just a day short of promotion) Torrak Keres, Watchman I started the men off with a sound off and number off. I am proud to report they all thoroughly suck eggs! Save the Sergeant... the only one of the lot with his act together! They can nay count! Nor do they know their own names or titles! Kas smokes shade.... we all know -that-! As for the rest I can only assume that the rancid smell of the flower coming from Valentine stunned their senses. The men recovered with the next set of parade orders. They performed.... if not crisply then surely soggy as they made fairly good maneuvers though Delferium may need a few more drills to truly hammer it in! The basic turning out of the way I went through some formation and then called the men to form on myself. Its a maneuver they performed superbly! I felt absolutely safe inside my meat coffin! I then ordered them to target the fence door to the parade grounds and gave the ma charge order! They gave that gate a grand trashing before I ordered them back in formation! From there I lined em up for an inspection. They did fairly well save in the department of bandages! 120!?!? What a pathetic and measly number! Yell nay satisfy anyone with that puny pile! The uniforms where in good order with only minor nicks and dings on some of the men's gear. I decided to end the drill with a free for all! In the end Kas beat us out.... through hidding until only two of us remained and picking off the easier target..... ME!!! Few more well administered Drills should have the men snappy! Damn where is that Corporal Carcer?! Suppose the Baron could put a recall on his leave of absence afore the whole army falls to shambles!?
