Title: Regarding The Altmere [RTR] Post by: Raiden Morana on January 03, 2009, 06:55:32 pm Can members please refrain from hosting events, military or otherwise in the former Covian province of the Altmere.
Cove's western border stops at the Altmere Outpost and all lands west of it are controlled by the Loyalists and have been since the province was lost during the Border Wars. Any events being held west of the Altmere Outpost are taking place behind enemy lines and thus are unacceptable in terms of believable roleplay, not to mention them being disrespectful to guilds such as LB, CS-B and Grd who fought so hard and so well to claim this area during the Border Wars scenario. You wouldn't host a training or a market in Stone Keep or any other enemy town and the Altmere is no different. Please use Cove's own facilities such as the Memorial Square, Green Goblin Tavern, Town Hall and Barracks etc. as well as Cove town itself of course. Thank you. The Cove Command Team. Family parties are at the discretion of the homeowner, though guests travelling through enemy territory to attend should be wary. However public guild events such as markets etc. should be held within Covian borders and NOT in enemy towns or territory. Thank you. Raiden. |
