Two days ago after I'd given a new recruit their kit, myself, this recruit, and that one elven recruit were sitting in the Barracks when a dark-robed person walked in demanding that we hand over Father Siegfried and Kiran of Vesper. This figure was flanked by an Orc, and a dragonscale-helmed figure that didn’t seem to speak much common. As a matter of fact, none of the three were able to communicate effectively. I informed them that Father Siegfried was away, likely on Church business, and that Kiran of Vesper was not a resident of Cove. Hearing this, the three responded with hostility. I ordered the two recruits at my disposal to ready arms as we demanded the three disarm or remove themselves from the barracks. Instead, they launched headlong into us, felling both recruits before we could react. I succeeded in luring them away from the injured Recruits via the use of skirmishing tactics but I was eventually overwhelmed. It may be worthy to note that the orc seemed to be the pet of the darkly robed individual. At one point the orc was referred to as “Zu” by its master. They come ter Cove throwin' their weight around eh? Find out who these bastards are Keres. Find out where they dwell. And we'll give them a dose of Covian retribution eh? If they come ter Cove and act like common brigands then that is how we'll treat them. *signed* Raiden, Commander. |
