Raiden, Commander. (leading) Kas Valentine, Veteran Mercenary. Garand, Mercenary. Ludwick Bloodaxe, Mercenary. Jane, Mercenary Recruit. On returning to barracks from our sortie around the lands we got down to the serious business of honing our combat skills, with a winner stays on competition where Kas proved beyond a shadow of a doubt what a fine mageling he is in combat by downing Garand, Lud' and myself twice. We then had a free for all where Kas took the brunt of our frustrations. I think Garand was the victor but I was a little woozy after the buggers teamed me and knocked me to the floor too. We were then joined by Jane so we went through some battlefield tactics with 3 on 2 combat. (http://img230.imageshack.us/img230/395/traininggr1.jpg) Again the experience of Kas and Garand shone through against the two recruits and myself as they won the first 2 rounds. However my team made the necessary adjustments and won the final round of sparring before Gwen Irima of the Trinsic Rose tavern visited us to warn of possible troubles in Cove after she had travelled to Britain to hear from the king. We thanked her for her trouble and wished her safe travels before bringing the trainnig to a close. *signed* Raiden, Commander. |
