It seems the Yewlander's moral compass isn't the only one more than a little awry. A detachment of their Waywatchers couldn't even find their  way to the border of their own ill gotten lands and tried preaching to a peaceful Covian sentry post about boundaries and treaties whilst blatantly standing on Covian soil well within our borders.


Having spouted their usual claptrap about serving their king whether he be imaginary, elven or otherwise to excuse their crimes we readied ourselves for the onslaught. Time passed... The age old Yewish trick of boring a foe to death took it's toll on some of our more inexperienced soldiers and we could have responded sharper to the 'Watchers surprise attacks.

Time and again they struck out of nowhere, their tainted blades felling our brothers. The cowardly swines would nay stand and fight, melting into the woodland after their sneak attacks. Soon only Sergeant Hoagie and myself stood and we decided to try and take the fight to the Yewish but by now we were severely outnumbered and were doomed to fall.

I missed the start of the sentry, I find it funny that she didn't even know she was in Covian territory, typical Yewish scum!

It was an interesting night and I am still nursing my wounds. They sure were sneaky and showed excellent tactics. We were heavily out numbered however they were hiding behind the boxes and removing them, a very nasty cheap tactic. This left us with no defence. I hope we can learn from our mistakes here and improve our tactics for next time.
