Orc Fort Obliterated, As Usual

First thing this morning I rallied the men via the the hated sleep-destroying barracks bell and, after making sure everyone was properly kitted-out, we headed off for the Orc Fort. We gathered up just out of view of the Orcish watchtowers and discussed tactics;

Leander, Mercy, and Kas would stick behind Buttons, Deburg, and myself as we crashed through the Orcish lines, attempting to heal us as well as obliterate targets of opportunity.

The plan worked well until, at long last, a massive countercharge led by a brute scattered us. However, we were not defeated! We used excellent skirmishing tactics to killed the brute before finally launching headlong into the remaining orcs and slaying them one by one in a bloody and merciless brawl. After slaying a few more orcs, we turned to withdraw back to the barracks but found our path blocked by another small group of orcs. We charged once again and quickly dispatched the greenskinned mongrels.


After this we regrouped at the barracks and divided up the spoils - one thousand gold to each man, and a further seven thousand to the Coffers, alongside various trophies.
