A number of us were sitting in the Goblin having a few drinks, passing the time and generally just relaxing as only Covian's can. The good doctor insisted we make use of the forces currently available to us and make a move on the Orc fort. Our very own Ludwik thoroughly supported the suggestion and 'Keres is always ready for action, before you could say "Octiovus" we were lined up at the barracks.

The objective of our mission was to recover whatever treasure the greenskins were currently hoarding as well seeking out any further clues which would assist Jones in his neverending lust for hidden wealth. Edward arranged to meet us at the mountain pass once he had acquired some horses with which to cart around our spoils. With everything understood Jones, 'Keres, 'Lud and I boarded a local vessel and sailed around to the fort.

I've drawn up a few sketches, my apologies for the hodge podge nature in which they're arranged but I only had cheap parchment to work with.


We liaised with Striker up by the pass and agreed that the best course of action would be to clear a path, scavenge anything worthwhile and then bring in the horses to collect it. Once I had gated Leander in from the barracks we set out towards the fort gates, Jones and Striker remaining behind. We downed several towering brutes during the runs between the pass and the fort, securing a good deal of armour and weapons for the Company.

As the day progressed into evening we escorted Jones and Striker from the pass down to the dock at the south side of the fort. From here we continued to stem the Orcish tide and relieve them of anything valuable. Several clues were discovered by the doctor, doubtless lodged away amongst the selected items of stolen booty. When he informed us of this we boarded the boat and returned to the barracks.

All in all the excursion was a victory from beginning to end, Jones will be commencing study on the clues as soon as possible. In the meantime our heroic mercenaries were paid and dismissed. The sum of 22,000 coins being delivered to the coffers.
