And another arcanist to boot. Let's see if he's got what it takes to make Mercenary. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ It's been a while since you served Haap. Things have changed. Even in recent times. It seems The Company is becoming a haven to arcanists. Seek out your fellow spell casters and arrange an activity to get to know them a little better and how best to fit into and compliment the skills of Cove's increasing band of mages. ~ Lead an event including at least 2 other arcanists. Use this as an opportunity to get to know your fellow spellcasters and discuss roles and tactics before putting them into use. Company Arcanist Valentine would be a good place to start. ~ Post a full report below outlining some of the things you have learned, without giving too much away. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ As always recruitment is key to the success of any community and Cove is no differen't. Being a mageling you should find it easier to get around than most so I'm tasking you with placing recruitment banners as outlined below. ~ Place recruitment banners at ten of the land's banks and another ten at popular dungeons/hunting spots throughout the lands. ~ Post a full report below of the twenty banners you have placed. ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ As an accepted mercenary you will be expected to guide and lead recruits in a variety of situations. To display your leadership qualities under pressure situations I want you to lead a mission against one of the land's most ferocious beasts. ~ Lead a trophy hunt of your choice. ~ A list of trophys can be found on here: http://cove.fantasyworld.nl/forum/index.php/topic,2728.0.html ~ At least 3 other mercs should accompany you on this mission. Title: Task three - Trophy Hunt Post by: Celuvian on March 23, 2009, 10:43:13 pm After a little recruitment run to haven Raiden reminded me of a task I needed done, so I decided to lead a merry bunch of Mercenaries to kill a Succubus and get the trophy off it aswell. Post by: Celuvian on March 31, 2009, 05:51:54 pm This afternoon there was quite a few Arcanists present, mostly new faces so I decided to invite them all to the Green goblin and buy them an ale.
Attending: Celuvian Haap Elizabeth Martin "Pickles" Leander Le Blanc Thomas Aylmer Was a nice talk we had and I do feel I know them a bit better. When the ale was empty and the pies was eaten, I asked if they wanted to do an exercise with me in mages-battletactic. This one is one of my favorites, its called The Designated Paralyzer. TDP! We all headed to the Covian undead home aka Graveyard. I was the designated paralyzer, and everything I paralyzed became the targets for their bombs and fires. The tactic worked beautifully and our Covian arcanists truly are amazing. I drew a few things....
