I've just put the new power unit in and now the computer is doing something else. It goes straight to the BIOS and asks about the processor speed, all the while accompanied by the dreaded plastic burning smell of doom. So my return is facing further delays ! I'll be back though, just as soon as I can pry my brother off WoW for five seconds and get him to determine the problem (and how to fix it). ;) Title: Re: Back soon ! Kas is the fan spinning on your PC? At least your getting power, not sure about the plastic smell, I once had that when I accidentally left a anti-static bag inside my pc (gawd knows how I did it). With the processor speed that sometimes happens if you change processor so maybe your motherboard knows your PSU (power unit) has been changed so you should just be able to goto quit and save on the bios.
