Title: Command Task ~ Keane Wakefield Post by: Hoagie on April 18, 2009, 02:52:04 am Heyup, Wakefield
Since those Vesperians have been wandering around our mines, the possibility of them hiding supplies to mount further attacks on Covian territory worries me. I want you to lead a detachment of men into Covetous, and ensure that there are no stashes of arms or other supplies planted there by the Vesperians ~ Lead a mission Covetous. Continue into the dungeon as far as you are able. ~ At least 3 other mercenaries must be under your command. ~ Recover at least 20,000 coins from the dungeon. ~ Your PAY for completing this mission is 10,000 coins, with the remainder shared between your party. ~ Post a full report below including sketches. Sergeant's comments: Be careful of what lies inside the dungeon! There are some dangerous things in there beside Vesperians. Good luck, Wakefield! In Command: Keane Wakefield, Mercenary Recruit- Reporting Present in the Company: Torrak Keres-Mercenary Coproral Hoagie-Mercenary Sergeant Tiberius- Mercenary Veteran Me'an Selin-Mercenary Recruit Total Gold Raised: 21036 Total Gold for Coffers: 12536 Monsters fought: Gazer Elder Gazer Lich Skeleton Dread Spider Harpy Rotting Corsps Mummy Specte -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- On the Eve of the Eighteenth of April, Hoagie, I would like thank you for the opportunity to do this task for "The Company" and Cove. I gathered our troops at the barracks. I gave a short debriefing on the mission at hand. We marched to Covetous with much anticipation. We checked our supplies and entered the dark abyss. Somewhere along the way we lost Me'an. He later caught up with us. Making our way through the first section of Covetous we fought back mostly harpies. They were nothing compared to the blunt force of "The Company". Passing through into a gap between the mountains we ran into an undead creature. Trying to set fire to it proved to be fruitless. Continuing on we entered a second section of Covetous. Fighting gazers and dread spiders. Once again " The Company" proved their power against these pitiful beast. Finding much evidence at this point that Vesper has been or is active in these caves,Looting our resources. We exited the second section of Covetous into another gap in the mountain. Fighting undead Skeletons along the way. We found ourselves starting at an entrance to what seemed to be an old city. We entered and fought creatures far more difficult then before. Such as lich's and rotting corpses. We found a worship room, we assume it us used now for Guardian worship. We made our what all the way through Covetous until we realized what we where up against. Calling a Tactical "HBR" We escaped unharmed. Accomplishing our goals we set back for the barracks to count our loot. In my professionally opinion we accomplished today what you where requiring. Thank you for your time, *Signed* Keane Wakefield (http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/9369/covetousfinished.jpg) Title: Re: Command Task ~ Keane Wakefield Post by: Raiden Morana on April 20, 2009, 09:54:48 am Gwah!?
Only 12,000 coins! Yer mission was 20,000. Or is it 12,000 on top of yer own 10,000 pay? Good work in the mines nevertheless recruit. *signed* Raiden, Commander. Title: Re: Command Task ~ Keane Wakefield Post by: airlesspenguin on April 20, 2009, 01:35:36 pm *walks in and looks at the response*
