Attending: Hoagie, Captain Faden Wildheart, Mercenary Delferium, Mercenary Kado Gael, Mercenary Leander Le Blanc, Mercenary Natanael Korjaa, Mercenary Recruit Cor'vani, Mercenary Recruit Keane Wakefield, Mercenary Recruit (http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c190/Warbringer/Training_4_29_09.jpg) After gathering the men up at the Barracks, we headed out to Altmere to the fortifications at "Fort Keres" (I swear I didnt name it). I then sent word to Vesper, inviting their militia to attend the training. After a handful of Militia and Stirling/Kendalls had arrived, we organized into teams. Several rounds of brutal fighting later, the following had been learned; - A group of four axemen is a deadly thing. - Melee fighters are much more useful in an indoor fight than archers or mages. - We STILL need to work on targeting. All in all, the men did fairly well. Although the defending team invariably lost, several of the round were very close.
