What with recent logging expeditions and reconstruction efforts in the wake of the floods, the Shire's treeline is looking a bit thinner. We could use your expertise in finding particularly promising new areas to harvest quality woods.
Task One ~ Finest Quality Lumber- Lead an expedition further afield than the Shire to gather 10,000 boards of oak or higher quality woods.
- Take at least 3 guardsmen to ensure your own safety and that of your pack ponies.
- Make sure to take a rest with food and refreshments at some point in your journey.
- Make detailed notes on the type and quality of lumber you find.
Task Two ~ Many Hands Make Light Work- Use some of the lumber you've collected, some banner cloth and torches or lanterns, and perhaps something to snack on, to set up a cozy crafter's stall in New Haven.
- Offer your services and advice to the craftsfolk and young apprentice warriors who train there... and put in a good word for Cove while you do.
- Make a good showing of it and take at least 3 other Covian civilians with you.
- You'll need to spend at least three-quarters of an hour there, although the longer you stay the better, of course.
