Title: *Notice left posted to the wall behind the counter for Staff only*
Post by: Railen Morana on July 31, 2009, 09:48:47 pm
My dear and valued staff,

It has come to my attention that our Uniforms are not being worn during some hours. The silk and linnen used in making this finery is not cheap. Please use them. I will allow you to choose to wear the cap or not, as I know it can be warm near the cooking fires.

If you wish to have a special event, please clear it through Penny Freckletip (or myself and I will pass word on), and have the dress code approved. In this way also, you will receive acknowledgement for leading events and such. I do not wish to thwart creative ideas, but I really do not enjoy watching, nor do I wish to be subject to the beatings the church will impose for lewd and lacivious behavior here.

Edward's vision for this establishment was to have a high class inn and tavern. Each of you has been given employment because your standards of service are excelent, and our wages and tips here reflect that. I shall soon post a list of what I hope will be fun parlour games that are appropriate. I do encourage creativity in this department, keeping in mind the "ever watchfull eyes" next door.

What you do on your own time, is your own buisness.  What you do here within the walls of the Goblin becomes mine. Need I remind you, the church is next door, and has watching eyes, and the power to close us down.

I would like to start a schedule of hours to try to insure we have staffing  for both the Goblin and Casino Night, Saturday evenings. Last week, no staff was available for the Casino. Its great pay, good tips, and is a way to legitimately earn a few extra coin. Speak with Kiran or myself for details.

Thank you all for making the Goblin more sucessful than it ever has been. And to the baker of the amazing baked goods, thank you! They are superb!
I would like to speak to you about cooking lessons.
Sincerely
~ Rai
