Title: I want you... Post by: Kiran on August 28, 2009, 06:04:50 pm *Notice left on the Swaggers inn and the green Goblins office shelfs.* (http://img214.imageshack.us/img214/2026/brotherhood.png) I have two men whom I would like to bolster our ranks with, the first one Sabal and myself have inclined to know of us slightly, his name is Alex Nystal, Guardsman of the Yewian hordes, only a trainee however as my contact there dwindle I see a ample oppurtunity for us to scourge the earth for any willing recruits. My task to you are to find him, bring him in and let him know of us, see if he is as willing as I would hope to believe... Rewards will be given to the excess in which you draw him in. My other potential "victim" is Vaughn, newly made recruit to the Baronship. He was previously involved with us for a short time but thus disapeared, he knows of me, I am not sure how much he knows, but i rather he became a friend then a dead man. Go forth and reap these men, my brothers, bring them into the bussom of our glorious family. Kiran. Title: Re: I want you... Post by: Garak Nightchill on August 29, 2009, 02:53:41 am Boss, I've concocted a basic plan to determine if Vaughn can become one of us. The plan is simple; I shall ask his aid in escorting me with a small trading caravan. This caravan will be transporting goods that are strictly legal. AS well as a modest payment, Vaughn will also gain the approval of the Army for helping both a commoner as well as Covian trade. The second, or perhaps the third caravan will involve goods of a more dubious nature. The payment will be larger. Should Vaughn accept this job then he will be implicated in our business. At this point, a more formal introduction to our Brotherhood can be made. If friend Vaughn is not involved sooner, I will proceed with this plan. -Mask In the interests of anonymity, I will be assuming the above pseudonym. Kiran. Title: Re: I want you... Post by: Garak Nightchill on August 30, 2009, 05:04:54 am Boss,
Some interesting developments with regards to our old friend Vaughn. I had approached him this evening about escorting me on a trading expedition. He seemed interested, though asked if it would be legal. I pursued this slightly, and got the feeling that his fondness for legality may in part be due to others nearby. I assured him this trsding run would be entirely legal although he was not entirly convinced, suspecting shade would be involved. Given that he did not turn it down despite his suspicions, this bodes well. But as we sat alone in the Goblin, after a young woman named Anna left, matters developed interestingly. He asked me to be honest (Hah!), and let him know if I had any contacts. I asked him with regards to what. It seems this Anna has suffered two recent attacks. I believe Vaughn was there during one of them. A figure wearing a mask, no further details known. I questioned him further and it appears that Anna is intimidated by a Tokuna woman who had been seen in Trinsic. Whilst talkign with Van after the Peace talks, we encountered a distinctive Tokuna girl. There may well be a connection. Vaughn stated he would escort my trading caravan for free if I found out *anything*. He also stated he suspects our young friend Gregory is involved. The opportunities here are clear. If we find out anything, we gain Vaughn's gratitude. If a link exists between Gregory and this attack, then Vaughn may well prove a formidable ally against this little nusiance. I shall see to it that Gregory is implicated in this attack on Anna regardless. At the least, Vaughn's wrath will keep him distracted. Speaking of Gregory, I have seen him in the Goblin, brazenly, on at least two occasions. Alas there were witnesses so I left him in peace, but a pattern is forming. He thinks he is safe. Regardless, I will visit Trinsic soon and attempt to learn more of this Tokuno woman. Van, in between almost drooling over her, may well know her name. I'll keep you appraised. I hope you will soon reap the harvest as I am eager for Vaughn to join our organisation.
Do me proud my brother. Kiran Title: Re: I want you... Post by: Kiran on August 31, 2009, 07:14:36 pm On a further note my dear brothers, as we do have a network of informants and spies in most regions I would like for you as well to forward suggestions to perhaps "Potential recruits" This could be anything from the lowest slum rat scum out there to the higher ranking corrupt members of society. Also look out for people whom show a apptitude for rising in ranks swiftly, usually they are the greedy and goal orientated men and woman out there.
Your reward will be fifty shillings per recruit you nominate, including details such as what they do, look and why you think they are good for potential family membership. -Small report detail- Place all your reports of this task beneath this report shown here. - http://cove.sugeworld.com/forum/index.php/topic,12871.0.html (http://cove.sugeworld.com/forum/index.php/topic,12871.0.html) - Making friends. This is a task for all of you out there, dearest of brothers. Lets grow our family to an extend that we shall have tendrils in every aspect of the known world. Make me proud, my dearest of brothers. (http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/6307/vaughn.png) Dear member of my new family. It has come to my attention that we underestimated our hopeful brother to be, Vaughn. I am unsure exactly of how much he knows, but I thought it was time to stop the mind games and give him some answers. He was curiuous if I knew anything about the attempts on Anna's life, I quickly turned it around to see how he would react if I told him it was me, I was impressed... He didn't flinch, merely asked if it was... I slowly gave him some truthful information, such as Gregories involvement which I suspect is true and so on. So far he is aware of me, know I am hireing and is interested in joining. I shall leave the rest up to you, my dear, I expect him to be part of our unit by tonight, hopefully. Of course if you will be busy dealing with the tavern night upcoming I shall of course have others deal with it, but I understand he was your "project" thus I rather not just throw it away to someone else. Reply to me as soon as you can my dearest. Kiran. Title: Re: I want you... Post by: Garak Nightchill on September 02, 2009, 02:51:42 pm Boss,
Should I meet Vaughn tonight, the matter will be brought to a conclusion. By then I hope to have spoken to our Trinsician friend and settled a small outstanding issue. If some of our brothers and sisters were to keep an eye on Anna and ensure she suffers no further misfortunes, that would also help sway Vaughn to our side. I've sent 40 shillings to the Steward's office to purchase a packhorse license. It may no longer be required for this venture but a use can always be found for beasts of burden. Boss, It is done. Vaughn is now one of us. He requests that we keep his dear Anna alive. I explained to him that should he betray us, he would live long enough for her to die. He understood. Interestingly, after I finished my observations on Anna and Tendo the night before, Vaughn visited the house and Tendo attacked both of them. Curious. This does not fit in with the affection I observed between Tendo and Anna. Perhaps Vaughtn saw what they wished him to see? I fear our newest Brother may be the victim of a charade. Regardless, he is of the Brotherhood now, and it is our fraternal duty to watch out for him. A full report on this matter will be forthcoming. In the meantime, perhaps it is time Brother Vaughn was introduced to his new responsibilities? Mask Title: Re: I want you... Post by: Garak Nightchill on September 03, 2009, 01:20:19 pm Boss,
Vaughn seems steady enough. He is eager to settle matters with friend Gregory. I cautioned him that Gregory is to be captured alive for questioning. Vaughn asked wherre to lock him up, I suggested the office or the small room under the stairs in the Goblin. Vaughn requested keys. If Gregory is captured, his masters will likely seek to free or silence him, I advise that we deal with the questioning swiftly. (http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y78/MaskPics/vaughn1.jpg) Vaughn is of the opinion that Gregory has been attacking Anna to hurt him. Why this Tendo is friends one moment and attacking Anna the next is beyond my ken. But be assured I'll give the matter my fullest attention. I shall take personal interest in his progress and applaud you as well in person for your delightful twisting and turns in this hunt for this man.
You have done me proud once more, my dear brother, and another reward shall be forthcoming. You have done more then expected and come out ontop. I shall look forward to our meeting, Kalam, yours with deep respect. Kiran. Title: Re: I want you...
