Time:1800hrs Guardsmen Leading: Demarian Tel'var Regular Guardsmen Attending Guardsmen: Thomas Alymer Junior Arcanist Guardsmen Recruit Thomas Deburg Citizen Guide Segellion Well... with the opening of the Gargoyle realm, some good old exploration of its inhabitants needs to be done... First impressions of the Gargoyle race were hostile though in Ishenlar there is the City located near exodus of friendly peaceful Gargoyles. The others are believed to be traitors and fanatic's. The Gargoyles of the Abyss are peaceful from what I seen , I'm quite fortunate to have made friends with one of them... few years back Segellion when I saved his life from a few of his stone cousin's who wished to pummel him. Anyhow' introducing himself to us... again though I'd spoken to him recently at that few days ago. Gave us a small tour of the Southern part of Ter Mur city, before we went to check some the native animal inhabitants a lizard Chicken... killed it and took a sample of its blood for study... see if its safe to eat or well.. see if its useful for anything at that. Also some strange ooze slime which revealed a shining black orb dark as the Abyss itself, Alymer is to conduct a study on these fine specimen samples we collected.... a Stone like Lizard which was quite nasty..., sharp claws and uses its tail to fight as well can get a bit rough in a group, has a long tongue.... again this will be experimented on and so forth...Weird snake like creature with the tongue Seg called it a Slith... the other was unknown to him.. (http://img3.imageshack.us/img3/213/18535422.jpg) At the North western area we located a Volcanic terrain, where we encountered a Dark red Daemon which was quite tapped with fiery art's it can take a hell of a beating and deal back some lethal fire damage... almost like one of those Greater Dragons. Larva elements and some corrupt fiery Gargoyles with no wing's seg says they've been corrupted.. and once we'd slain them made some weird symbol over there lifeless bodies..... We headed back towards the city Alymer headed to the Barrack's briefly to sort something....Raptor's was the next target's I've heard they're pretty fascinating creatures....few Silver serpent's got in the way ended up dead quickly... Segellion had to leave us once we reached Ter Mur, Alymer rejoined us and we headed south towards the Holy city.. on the way there I noticed some Bloody Gargoyle Garments.. following a faint trail of blood I came upon,.. Raptor's....quite vicious thing's they hunt in packs have large teeth... about he size of an ostard but more bulky with foot talon's and speed.... we managed to fend off a couple of attacks... retrieving some teeth for examinations....before a large horde of them came out of no where...we ended up splitting up and heading back to Ter Mur... I had to fight off about ten of the wretched thing's....could easily overpower someone who doesn't keep on the move...especially with there speed. Anyhow' Alymer was given the samples for study... before we headed back we purchases a carpet for the Baron's office... which Alymer has installed, I'm sure the golden rug is to the Baron's liking. Nothing else to report...other than I look forward to our next venture into these new lands... For those that wish to venture alone keep extreme caution when dealing with the Native creatures they're quite rough and deadly... ~Signed~ Demarian Tel'var |
