In light of this event, anyone who has paid who is on the ledger to stay at the Goblin's inn, will be either reimbursed, or you may elect to receive a coupon good for the number of days remaining for your stay plus one extra day compensated for your trouble. We are very sorry for this inconvenience. I also urge all citizens to demand a receipt for taxes paid, and if you are so kind to bring a copy to myself so that we may present them in full to the Baron as evidence. At the very least we can insure that the bookkeeping is accurate by comparing numbers. I do not recommend that you refuse payment. If you cannot afford your tax, I will do what I can to assist you. We believe our Baron to be a just man, an excellent leader, and Ed seeks audience with him to bring our grievances to his attention with suggestions on a more fair taxation system for all.
