Title: Intruder at the Barracks!

He wore a Trinsic badge.

Senaria stood rigid, affixed to her stance on the green grass, a sharp glare frozen on her face. He stood before her, casual but intimidating, all but his narrowed eyes hidden by a dark hued helm that matched the rest of his dark suit of armor. He wore the badge of Trinsic, a place Commander Eason had warned Senaria to avoid due to tension between the two militias.

"Where did you come from?" he demanded, his voice muffled and hollow as it resonated through his helm. He looked Senaria up and down as she fumed, furious at the idea of being sized up.

"The Orc Fort, 'sir,'" Senaria hissed. She had just used the recall spell to appear in front of the barracks, having just commenced a patrol turned hunt at the Orc Fort led by Sir Antonius Proximo. Adrenaline still rushed through her veins from combatting with half-witted orcs. Now stood before her a fully able warrior.

"What are you doing here?" he prodded.

"I'd ask you the same," she replied, clutching her spell book a bit tighter. She knew others would be joining her in a few moments. She had chosen to recall to the barracks while the others had marched.

"Stay out of Trinsic," he growled, his hand reaching for the hilt of his kryss. "That's a warning, to all of you."

"I can't fathom why we would want to be in Trinsic," the recruit sneered, ready at any moment for an attack.

"Two of you were," he snorted. "I'm warning, you, stay out of Trinsic."

Senaria eyed the man, trying to work out a liar. No. He would have no reason to be alone in Cove otherwise. This was a warning. A threat. Not an attack. She was about to reply, but she was suddenly joined by those who had accompanied her in the Orc Fort, including Sir Proximo. The Knight quickly took control of the situation, ordering the recruits to form a line. Dark conversation riddled with threats was exchanged for a short time. The intruder seemed to show a special interest in Recruit Nick, and implied that he had been one of the trespassers into Trinsic. At this, he drew his kryss - again as a threat, not an attack.

Eventually, the man clearly had said what he'd wanted to say, and began to walk off. The Knight ordered the intruder repeatedly to disarm. The intruder laughed him off, and continued to walk away. Sir Proximo then, to Senaria's great pleasure, ordered the recruits to surround the intruder.

Again, he shrugged them off, continuing to avoid contest with the Covian recruits. A sign of cowardice or bravery? Hard to tell. Regardless, Sir Proximo ordered the recruits to arrest the man. He then began to flee with quite a bit more vigor, as Senaria and the other recruits persued. Eventually growing tired and casting a spell to restrict the man's movement and freeze him in place, the intruder was helpless and surrounded by Covian guards. By the time they had gathered their wits, however, the intruder escaped.

The recruits reported back to the barracks. The commanding officers had to be informed of this, but had disagreed with the Knight. The intruder had come only to deliver a message - one she hoped would be greatly considered.

Most concerning. However, a silly Trinscian; Cove has not entered Trinsic for months.
