I thought this would be a fun little thread... basicly just put anything down that you think is a funny way of telling when you play this game too much....I'll start with an example...

You know you play too much UO, When you can't find your car in a parking lot, So you just decide to recall off your keys....

You know when you've played UO too much when your maths lecturer says divide the loot into ratios and you start thinking of piles of gold coins.

You know you've played too much UO when you say to your friends/family who have no clue about UO, "Well I can come out for abit, maybe have a pint or two, but I've got to be back for 8pm, I've got a battle and Captain Dart will f**king kill me if I'm late."

"You know when you've played too much UO when your dead friend calls you up and asks for a res"  :D is my fave.

Otherwise, I remember when I got very emotional over getting PKed whilst mining and losing 3k ingots!

You know you've played too much UO when you read or someone tells you something mildly amusing and you actually say "Hoh!" or "Heh!" out loud. >_>

Once, during the Border Wars, I dreamt we were fighting Grd and I was trying to call targets....but no one was listening and instead were running around in circles like partially beheaded chickens.

Woke up shouting "DART!!"

If that isnt a sign I've played too much UO, I don't know what is.

Also, I've adopt phrases my character uses like;
- "Go fall down the stairs"/"____ can go fall down the stairs."
- "Where I'm from, we didnt have time for ______."
- The prefix " S' " as in "S'like" and "S'that?"

Also, the habit of replying with "Probably dead" to any question about anyone's status or whereabouts.

Also, I distinctly remember Hoagie being black in this dream.

I can't believe you guys do some of these things! Whoa. UO doesn't really have any effects on me unless I'm playing it. I sort of become oblivious to other things around me if I'm in a good RP situation or something.

My mate once told me about how she had some spare textile cloth in class and the first thing she thought of was cutting it into bandages.  :P

I also have a mate who said that when they were in class a few years back... Whenever he'd been playing UO in Grd they were always expecting the teacher to scream "LINE UP MEN!"

Know you played too much when you can't find you're keys and you're desperatly trying to hit "Ctrl+Shift" on your keyboard.

You know you've played too much UO when you introduce yourself to new people as "Van Cocidius".

You know when you played too much UO when you refer to your Doctor as the healer and when your doing treatments you ask "So how many Hit points am I getting back?"

You know you've played UO too much when in your dreams you think you can hide and stealth just by careful breathing...

You know you play to much UO when you see someone dressed in orange you scream "AN EX POR!!"

i once dreamt i was playing rugby against UD and TBK. That count as too much?

You know you play too much Su-mi when you stab your best friend's mother, pluck out her eyes and use them as gob stoppers.

You know you play too much UO when you actually begin to consider whether people's mothers are worth sleeping with. ???

You know you play too much UO when you start saying GAH!? when you miss your mess up..

You know you play too much when you actually spend more time tidying your ingame house than your real one or bedroom? Or you would rather do in game grinding/crafting than actually do things you have to do in real life... damn.

I so wanted to flamestrike an ugly smoker on the street polluting my fresh air ...

You know you're playing too much when you wish 'they' would make a macro for doing mondain tasks.  E.g. Ironing.

*Grins* or you want a design house button that just moves everything to a crate and you don't have to tidy up.

I've numerous times wished that there were rl emotes.  Communicating would be so much easier.  No longer wonder to what degree angry wise your partner/friend/whoever is, a handy dandy emote could clear that up instantly!

You know when you play too much UO when you emote IRL. For example if someone annoys me I'll say 'sighs'

Tbh, thats true. I get that with typing, i sometimes will just say 'tbh', 'wtf' or 'cba' in real life because i can't be bothered to actually say it.

Lulz, me too. I've noticed I've been saying "Sigh", "Yawn", "Stretch", "Cough" etc.. After I actually do them.

I've been known to say "Grunt" and "Yawn".

I usually when mocked plot the demise of my said mockee's and set out my gang on them to do a hit, then reap the benefits  >:(

I like to take pictures on my regular patrols to the grossery store and just write a few words underneath. Also I make sure to pin it up on the fridge and hopefully after a few hours there're a few shillings awaiting me.

When you watch a documentary on medieval battles and see someone dressed in full chainmail and think, it's a footman!
