Title: (Complete)Grenadier Re-entry Trial ~ Raven Post by: Linaeus on November 25, 2009, 03:19:29 am As a ex-Grenadier, we know you're good stock, but we can't just let people to freely come and go as they please into this unit. We need to make sure you can be as dedicated to the squad as expected. The trials aren't as rigorous as your previous trials were but I still expect a high standard from you. Discipline was a reason for your departure, and that will need to be address, and your Loyalty will need to be re-inforced. Discipline. (http://img25.imageshack.us/img25/4977/ravenbattlescene.png) I'm well aware that you're a veteran of many battles and campaigns, having fought along with you in places ranging from Stonekeep to Vesper to the streets of Cove, but many of our newer soldiers are the very picture of bad discipline. As Grenadiers, it is our duty to set an example for the lower ranks and provide a guiding hand. Conditions. - At least 5 guardsmen will attend the training session. - You will show evidence in your report that all the points stated above have been covered during the training session. - Post a full report below. Loyalty. I'm sure you've heard tell of the new terror that stalks the forests of the land and dares even to venture into the Household. Big as a house, talons the size of trees, and razor sharp feathers that cut flesh from bone... ...this new threat to the realm is known as a Giant Turkey. It is a danger to the safety and security of Cove and indeed the world. Your mission is simple; EXTERMINATE THEM. - Kill at least one Giant Turkey. - This may be completed with as many guardsmen as you deem necessary to complete the task. - Post proof of your kill below. Good luck Raven. Looking forward to your return. *signed* Torrak Keres, Grenadier Sergeant.[/s] Title: Re: Grenadier Re-entry Trial ~ Raven Post by: Raven on November 25, 2009, 03:36:51 am Discipline
Guardsmen Present: Kerri Keane Wakefield Gabriel Drachan Cor'Vani Bersi Iseabel Caewood Gilraen I lead a training session with 7 other guardsmen. It focused mostly on acting as a team, and developing the ability to automatically attack the most injured foe, without instruction. I saw this as a one of the key elements of discipline in the army. It started with 3 v 3 training, then 2 v 2 v 2 v 2 afterwards. Switching the way each participant engaged the fight that ensued. I enclose a painting. It is important that we try and cull the population now. I lead a team to kill a Turkey in Cove. The team varied in number ranging from Myself and Keane, to around 7 of us at the end. It took a hour to take down, but I don't think we'll be hungry for a while. I enclose a painting: (http://img163.imageshack.us/img163/5892/raventurkey.png) Raven Regular Grenadier |
