(http://i27.photobucket.com/albums/c190/Warbringer/Training_11_30_09.jpg) Having rallied the Grenadiers at the Barracks for a general sort of Trophy Hunt, I was about to begin my briefing when the Baron approached. Saluting sharply, the line quickly realigned to make room for Lord-Viscount Chelmsford, the Baron's Minister of Transport, as the Baron dismounted him and addressed the line. Seizing this opportunity, I offered the Baron command of the line. A few short minutes later we were at the Docks in Covetowne, with six bronze-clad warriors and a single prospective recruit listening attentively to the Baron's lecture regarding the various duties and qualities of the Grenadiers. Following this, we performed an exercise in which Team One (Comprised of myself, Raven, and Buttons) was to defend the Baron against attack by Team Two (Demarian, Flina, Hayden, and Marcus). To my great pleasure, Regular Raven and Junior Buttons performed admirably, with Team One suffering no casualties while obliterating the attacking Team Two. Further exercises included; - A lecture on wine, as well as an attempted poisoning of Regular Trix via tricking her into drinking Vesperian Wine. - A contest to determine the greatest living Grenadier, which Lord-Viscount Chelmsford won with 983 points, with Buttons and I tying for a close second with 1 point apiece. - A War Cry contest. - A contest to see who could chase down and knock out Recruit Shepard first. - A contest to see, between Buttons and I, which Grenadier could survive the treatment shown to Shepard the longest. - A brief set of basic introductions, as some of our number had never met the Baron in person before.
