What should I do with them?

I was thinking if it would be useful to have a SECOND BoC barracks and tavern in the Altmere region. There seems to be a lot of players up there lately in BoC especially, has expanded up to that area, but mostly used for manors and homes. I won't do that though unless the rest of BoC approves of it... With Hoagies recent absence, it might come in handy?

i dont know if that would be beneficial for BoC having two Barracks, but something altmere related sounds good.

Farms. Altmere is supposed to be one of Cove's big farming provinces, but there are like no farms. You can have a moderately sized house with a big yard used for some farms, and maybe another one thats just a cropfield and perhaps a small Watchtower/Armory for the Army to retrieve supplies from when we're patrolling or sentrying in Altmere?

Its not like Hoagie is gonna deactivate his account and let the barracks fall, its not in his character, he's a Covian at heart.

A farm might be good, both houses are in lower altmere by the water.. I could use the other one for naval purposes perhaps?

Navy is dead, spare yourself the headache of owning a building with no purpose and atleast wait until Command actually announces a navy. But building some farms would be nice. I once had a farm. . . . then I made it a fortress. Now its just a house with a small yard.

Yeah, there's always issues with people ,making big houses and not liking if they dont get used, Farm plots have a multitude of uses whether it's roleplay, Faytes or perhaps with this new revolt plot?

Revolt plot? Sounds alot like something Grd did once. Im guessing you mean the altmerian thing?

Yeah, the Altmerian Liberation Front thing I've been trying to run. Depends heavily on Pickles and other folks running events in and around Altmere and getting turnouts big enough for the people who play ALF characters to ALF' during without killing the event's turnout. We got a fairly decent one of 4 Altmerians vs. 6 Covians last time we did something. Only one Altmerian was trained, but the majority of the event was setting traps and ambushes and letting the guardsmen roleplay through them.

But aye, I'd say just make the plots like...

Where W is the building, be it the farmhouse or watchtower, P is a small path to the door, S are the steps, and the rest of the plot is devoted to farming whatsits. I don't recommend adding the crops yet, though, what with the snow (hopefully) being added relatively soon. It'll be good for a planting/irrigation event or something come Spring, though.

Could also have a small barn in the upper right corner.

To review;
Plot 1: Farm and Waystation - A field owned by a local farming family in which the Army maintains a small stockpile of supplies, weapons, ammunition, first aid equipment, etc. to aid Army Patrols in the area.

Plot 2: A local farm and farmhouse, with a barn and a cropfield next to it.

An military outpost would be good, aye. Would give patrols a clear goal of where to go.

Could do that with a farm though?

S'what he means, I think. Military Outpost + Farm on the same plot.

If you made two farms, I'd make my house a farm. Keres might do so, too.

Mine would be a small farm, though. Just knock out the little courtyard/garden thing and make it like an herb garden or something. Or an orchard. I have like 6 Apple and Peach Trees.
