Never before have I ran a sentry which was as busy as this evenings near Vesper. The guardsmen and I went to the crossroads to setup sentry and protect the Covian highway against bandits and scum.
The guardsmen quickly gathered up hides and wood and created boxes. Gabe apparently fell down a hole while chopping logs and believes he was magically transported to Trinsic, personally I believe he fell asleep. After the sentry was constructed Gabe placed a almighty pole, a 'dancing pole' as Bersi nicely described it. Gabe said he pulled it from Bersi's mind... quite some magic I say.
A man in a white robe appeared upon his steed, he halted when told so and he was charged five thousand coins to pass. He did not have the funds and refused to work for us as payment, he ran off saying he would return, I presumed he would take the long way round the mountain.
The sentry talk plundered to an all time low of strippers being baited with cheese, the Vespains evolved from cows and they have no real men.
The man in the white robe, on his steed returned, coin purse in hand and paid the sum of five thousand coins! We let him pass, why anyone would actually pay to go to Vesper is beyond me.
Gabriel tried to see if Bersi would fall for his stripper trick; Gabe disguised himself as a woman (I think hes used to dressing up as one) and Bersi fell for it like a charm!
Sebal sneaked off to inspect if Vesper was quiet, he returned with news that he had seen three Vespians coming our way! A couple of the guardsmen hit the shadows and we waited, and waited and then waited some more...
Finally after waiting at least a year for the fat swines to appear, they did. Two Vespians, a man and woman... not sure on their names appeared and told us how this was Vesper's land... Ha! I told the filthy swines to leave our lands immediately. We were struck from the shadows, hard and fast. Victor and Bersi took the first spells and fell in seconds, I fell moments after still in shock.
Gabe, Sebal and Sheffield were waiting in the shadows, devising a tactical plan to wipe the invaders out. Meanwhile the fallen were tied to the totem in the centre of the sentry.
Oh how they did indeed wipe the swines from their feet! It took Gabe, Sheffield and Sebal some time and quite a bit of sneaking but they managed it.
More Vespians appeared, one seemed to be controlling a weird creature, a Imp I believe, very strange indeed! At least 3 or 4 more popped from the shadows. We decided it best to return to Cove before starting a all out war and being heavily outnumbered and wounded it seemed the wisest thing to do.
Now for the record they ATTACKED us FIRST.
