6 attending: Elizabeth Martin, Cadet, Arcanist Division (Instructor) Celuvian Haap, Junior Guardsman, Core Division 'Fred', Junior Guardsman, Scout Division Bersi, Junior Guardsman, Core Division Ruby Whalebiter, Watchman, Core Division Iolan Grimsditch, Watchman, Core Division B. OBJECTIVE: To hone our battlefield teamwork and fighting skills through three war games. C. EXERCISES COMPLETED: 1. Capture the Flag. Guardsmen formed two teams (myself, Cadet Martin, Junior Haap vs. the others). Objective was to capture other team's flag and return it to our base whilst defending our own flag. Although initially resistance at their base (north-western watchtower) was too strong, once opposing team were scattered through the fields we were able to pick them off and take their flag. 2. Teamed Combat. Guardsmen formed two teams (myself, Junior Fred, Junior Haap vs. the others) for several rounds of combat excercises. The other team took up position on the docks for the better part of these whilst we launched skirmish offensive from the heart of town. As before, we were better able to take other team when they had scattered. 3. Free-for-all. Guardsmen practised field fighting skills battling against one another. This ended in quick and decisive win for arcanists. G.
