I am not trying to start a flame war etc but I think its time to talk about the current command structure and who's looking after what. I know activity is low at the minute but we don't want it get it lower. It might just be me but the only member I only see online is Kere's (sorry if I've missed someone). He should be made commander (if he wanted). I know he would have the dedication and drive to do it. Another person I believe should have some sort of leadership role is Bersi, his commitment to being active and leading events has shown this. I would also say Kal because he lives in the game but I don't think he wants to be in command? For Cove! We'll undoubtedly have a new Commander in the near future, but for the moment Sergeant Keres'll have to suffice. ;)
As far as Kal goes, while he's an excellent and very active member of the guild, we want to avoid having more than one command member for the same squad again. As of today I am going to be handing in a form saying that I want to work only three days a week and will always have Sunday off to run events and be there for the big events.
So panic not! Things are going on behind the scenes and the Cove train will be choo-chooing into a town near you soon! FOR COVE!! Somtimes it can feel more like a job than a game :P At the end of the day I've done OOC command for GRD a lot more goes on so the not so active Commandm embers are probaly wroking on stuff anyway for the guilds future so many possibilities! I think command does a great job. All guilds not only cove is currently afflicted with a bit of inactivity. Things always pick up. |
