Recent rumours suggest that Cove has entered a state of bankruptcy and its army has disbanded. Unfortunately for the work-shy perpetrators of this rumour, nothing could be further from the truth! Hard times indeed have struck Cove. Morale is low, and the booming ranks of recruits that were once boasted are no more. Cove has gone through times of prosperity and military superiority, but these things are not what the pride and honour of Cove are built upon. The name "Cove" is synonymous with overcoming times of adversity and hardship, and these times are no different. The orcs assail us from the south as they always do, and long periods of peace have allowed the army to become lax. Cove shall rise again, as it always does. There has been a rise in orcish agitation from the south. Panicking and fleeing is not the Covian way! Double the defences! Triple the patrols! Don't let anything take what's rightfully ours! During the Commander's absence, all guardsmen are to report to the Captain for orders. |
