Escaflowne of Vesper called the first Northern Council Meeting, in which many matters of state were to be discussed. In classic Vesperian style, he spouted much ill wisdom about reducing punishments for criminals and even more grave and unwise, he advocated accepting gargoyles, elves, and even ORCS into the ranks of the Republic without restriction. Naturally it was impossible as good Covians for our delegation to repress their wholesome Avatarian disgust at such beings of inherent evil being considered worthy. The Baron with tact and deft skill approached the topic of Cove's seat on the council, and Escaflowne of course concluded that the grievous lack of recognition by 'King' Blackthorn must be rectified. During the course of the meeting, the spy, who identified as 'Jonathan Fix' was captured listening in, and sentenced to a just ten thousand year service in the Covian army as punishment. Citing her lack of will to do anything except partake in cheese, she obstructed the righteous Covian cause, until the Yewish arrived and further bolstered our ever strong Avatarian alliance.
