Title: [Letter to Commander Grayner] I may have been injured Post by: Leanne Martin on June 19, 2018, 08:12:11 am Dear Commander Facey / Flint / Grayner,
I have terrible news! It seems that my climbing and jumping from trees over the years has not been good for my feet, precisely my right one. Lately, I heard loud cracks whenever I jumped down. Or was running. Or basically every move. I was thinking, t'is probably just a twisted ankle. But Kobra ment I was lucky it didn't snap in two. Apparently, my Achilles tendon is way too overused and my foot is overall very worn. Kobra gave me this strange L-shaped device that I have to carry all the time under my boot for now. Which makes jumping from trees impossible. Or running. Or basically move in a decent speed. He strictly prohibited me to put too much weight on my foot, gave me some painkillers and a balm for the swelling. He did not say how long I need to take a break though... Therefor, I will focus for now on recruiting new flesh and paperwork. I'm sure this is a ploy to avoid field work. You scouts are tricky like that. Get back to proper work when you can. |
