From Medical Personel In Training Carolin Kazami On the eve of 15/10/18 I tended to medical needs of one Leanne Melior. The details are provided below. Injury: Loss of pinky and ring finger on her left hand. Method of sustaining the injury is unknown. Information was not shared by the patient. The patient appeared to have stitched her own wounds shut in a rather hasty form of first aid. Patient complained of pain and occasional bleeding through the hasty stitching. Care Given: Recleaning of wound, administration of painkillers, and medically searing of the wound with heat. The decision to medically sear the patient's wounds shut was not hastily decided upon. This method was ultimately chosen by myself and the patient due to her active lifestyle and current duties in the military. This method not only ensured the wounds would not reopen due to said lifestyle and duties, but would also enable her to return to active duty with little to no complications.
