Title: Gate Sentry - COMPLETED Post by: Gregor Eason on August 31, 2005, 07:46:14 am Vesperian forces have broken through the Border more than once, and have attacked the very walls of Cove. See to it that our Great City is defended at all costs. Construct a Gate Sentry at its front, logging entrants and checking them carefully for concealed weapons and any possibility of ill intent upon Cove.
Commander Eason, Cove Militia & Baronship Council This Duty may only be organised and led by a Watchman or above. Task * Set up a Sentry Post at the Covian Gates. * Consider side games to keep guardsmen on sentry entertained! Conditions * Only Watchmen or above may organise and lead this Duty, though all other ranks may attend. * The Sentry Post must be well constructed and resourced, including barricades, lanterns, provisions. * At least three guardsmen must take part in this Duty. * At least two guardsmen must be manning the Sentry Post at all times. * The Sentry Post must be held for at least thirty minutes. * A FULL report, with paintings, must be posted below in this thread. Attended by: Raiden Morana, Junior Grenadier (leading) Drachir, Sneaky Officer Cadet (briefly) Malin, Guardsman Recruit Rupert Ridir, Guardsman Recruit I was takin' a late night stroll through Cove when I came across meh comrades who'd 'ad a bit of a scuffle wi' some deadites. Wi' all tha' ad gone on wi' the barracks an' such I thought it would be best to lead a gate sentry to check those comin' in and out of Cove, seein' as 'ow meh early gate sentry 'ad tay be cancelled due tay lack o' numbers. *scowls* (http://img456.imageshack.us/img456/6558/uo00227hq.jpg) Recruit Malin came across some gruesome remains as he patrolled the town but on conducting my own inspection I found nothin' suspicious.
