Title: Message Delivery - COMPLETED Post by: Gregor Eason on August 31, 2005, 08:30:38 am A runner is needed! I require a guardsman to carry swiftly a note of great importance. Here is the content, though as long as the main points are communicated, I care not of what is said.
Bring this message to an officer of the Guardsmen Militia of Yew! "Greetings from Cove! We request aid on the Border Front. The Vesper Militia has sounded a call that shall unite all local Vesperian forces beneath one banner. I know of your troubles with the same lot also. Mayhaps we can meet and discuss a suitable strategy of alliance against our united Enemy. Send word with this Runner on a good date to meet. My thanks, Commander Eason." This Duty may be attempted by a Guardsman Recruit, or above. Tasks * Carry the message to Stonekeep, and speak it to a Militia Officer there. Conditions * Anyone may conduct this Duty. * Only one guardsman is required. * A FULL Report, with paintings, in THIS thread must be given. Go! Swiftly! WAR is at our Front! Har! Junior Drachir, signing up for this task! Title: Re: Message Delivery Post by: Drachir on September 03, 2005, 08:11:23 pm after one failure of giving the message to the Guardsman Militia, Drachir tries again later in the evening to catch them at there merryiest
'Hmm, maybe i should run that errand now...' I said to myself, as i had just finished Senior Tiberius' grewling training session. I grabbed the note from the bank and start on my journey towards Yew... (http://img376.imageshack.us/img376/2155/yew15iw.jpg) (http://imageshack.us) At first i started walking, but then i realised that Guardsman Militia are very sleepy after having a few Ales at the Tavern, so i decided to run. As i got to the Vesperian border, i became slightly nervous, seeing as the night before, Corporal Valiro and I had been spotted there, luckily our identities stayed hidden and so did the fact that we were from Cove, anyway...I was very precorsious as I went through the outskirts of the border... (http://img339.imageshack.us/img339/6606/yew25ps.jpg) (http://imageshack.us) I decided to take the shortest route and go tothe big portally thingy.... (http://img339.imageshack.us/img339/2583/yew30ks.jpg) (http://imageshack.us) Finally!!! i was in Yew! Un-harmed, and obviously un-armed... I searched for the barrel-road (which is what i call it) And went to follow that because it takes me directly to the Tavern. Once I got to the Tavern, I was most pleased that there were actually people there. I spoke to them, and they were not very polite, but they did take the note, and it was not thrown back in my face or anything of that sort... (http://img334.imageshack.us/img334/6373/yew45vx.jpg) (http://imageshack.us) Yaharrr! I had completed my errand! I was free to go home! Now i hope that it was recieved with a kind hand, rather than a selfish one...let us hope that they will help us... *signed* Junior Guardsman Drachir Title: Re: Message Delivery Post by: Gregor Eason on September 04, 2005, 01:53:30 am Good work, Junior Drachir.
