Title: Character Help Post by: Jenifer Feather on September 28, 2005, 09:02:40 pm My character sucks... heh, well she doesnt suck but she just isnt very strong... seems to get knocked VERY eassily etc. SO i was wondering if anyone could give a few pointers....
These are the skills im aiming for... Fencing : 115 Tactics: 100 Anatomy: 100 Healing: 100 Hiding: 100 Stealth: 85 Ninjitsu: 100 These are my current skills (ish) Fencing: 103 Tactics: 96 Anatomy: 93 Healing: 79 Hiding: 100 Stealth: 80 Ninjitsu: 75 Any help would be...helpful :D Title: Re: Character Help Post by: Shadwell on September 28, 2005, 09:09:13 pm Seems good to me. What helps in surviving is having UO Assist, especially since you already have a hand free you should use it to drink heals/cures on a fast rate.
Shadwell is just GM fencing but by having high Dex (100) and a good stash of heal pots he lasts long enough in most fights! Title: Re: Character Help Post by: Jenifer Feather on September 28, 2005, 09:15:55 pm Well i got 100 strengh, 80 dex and 45 mana, recon i should drop some strengh and mana and raise dex?
Title: Re: Character Help Post by: Erik Arkay/Evinyatar on September 28, 2005, 11:04:52 pm I wouldn't....Depending on how you use your character I'd even raise yer mana a bit....You're a cowardly scout :) Why not use a smokebomb when you get targetted and stab them in the back?
Like Shadwell says....UOAssist and potions are your friends....Also since you have no poisonning I'd suggest making disarm your first move Remember that you only have one hand...So if you really like to you could even drink Greater Agility and Greater strength potions for more HP and more speed Title: Re: Character Help Post by: Kiyoshi on September 29, 2005, 07:27:49 am Its really worth getting a stat scroll, even with something like a +15 which arent much at all now you could get your stats to something like, 95 100 45
Title: Re: Character Help Post by: Drachir on September 29, 2005, 10:25:13 am Drop Hiding to 80 id say, althoughyou may fail a couple of times, it still gives you 20more skill points for something more usefull like poisoning or focus.
Also, according to a reliable source, at 75 stealth, you never fail, only if you're wearing full leather of course... Title: Re: Character Help Post by: Darwin on September 29, 2005, 02:59:18 pm You'll need alot of mana since fencing is not very strong, that's the road I followed for my Assassin, worked pretty good.
Title: Re: Character Help Post by: Samuel West on September 29, 2005, 05:17:24 pm What is uo assist?
Title: Re: Character Help Post by: Joey Lanai on September 29, 2005, 11:24:13 pm A program designed to run alongside UO to help the player with extra macro's.
Basically makes the game easier to play, a very good investment seeing as it only costs 19$ is it? for a one time payment. Read here for Details www.tugsoft.com (http://www.tugsoft.com) |
