Title: The Curse, Of The Umbra Red Cloth.
Post by: Paul Homesley on October 01, 2005, 04:04:43 pm
After the Umbra Market was closed, I was left behind with my two pack Horses. Readying to leave. As I started walking towards the moongate, I saw a good friend, Thor. And we chatted for a bit as he packed up his stall. he then asked me, If I would like to collect the cloth carpet, being a tailor I of course agreed to this.
I went back to Cove and picked up my Sewing Kit. I then readied the cloth and sewed together a fine apron, But then. I heard a creep whisper of "Ami Sah Ko" from what seemed to be, The cloth. I ignored it and made a skull cap also, But yet again, I heard the words "Ami Sah Ko". I once again ignored it thinkin' it were just my imagination.
But, When I woke up this' morning I went into Town Hall, To find my good friend Smedly Herbwood. He chatted to me about how there were no bandages in the vendor outside the barracks, And was making some to sell at expensive prices. I laughed and decided to join in. I once again fetched my Sewing Kit, And picked up the red cloth. I then realised, That I did not need my sewing kit. So instead got out my pair of scissors. I cut up 30 bits of cloth, But then heard "Ami Sah Ko" as they were cut into bandages. By now I was starting to get creeped out, And Smedly had heard it too. I decided that it was a shadow stalker having a bit of fun and carried on. I looked at Smedly and saw his dirt, work-beaten smelly top, And asked him if he'd like a new shirt. He dis-agreed but I made it anyway in hope he would see the nice red design. I got out my Sewing kit which was in my pocket from earlier and crafted him a fine Shirt, but yet again hearing the "Ami Sah Ko". I was beggining to get scared but thought, It's only a bit of cloth and laughed. He refused to wear the shirt hearing the words of "Ami Sah Ko" and handed it back to me.
I then entered into the barracks alone, As smedly was awfly tired and had to get some sleep. I then saw Sir Tiberius and decided to see if he would like to buy some Bandages, he agreed to 60 gold shillings. And I handed them over to him. "Ami Sah Ko" echoed through the barracks as I did, And both I and him heard them. He shrugged and walked out but I stood there for a second trying to make a connection to where this sound was coming from, I failed so just continued my daily routine.
But it was later this very day that I was crafting in my workshop when suddenly the words "Ami Sah Ko" Started Bellowing through the workshop in a loud necromantic voice. Then before me hovered a dark ghost screaming the words over and over again. Then suddenly In a circle around me Undead raised through cement, Just breaking through the ground and swang maces and swords at me. I ran through the ghost still screaming "Ami Sah Ko". I ran towards the barracks and opened the door panting. Tiberius was standing there, Bleeding slightly. I saw him take out the bandages and shoutted "Noooo!", But it was too late. he applied them and then quickly turned to me shouting "What the hell d'you want?". But before I could say anything another, Almost identical ghost appeared before our eyes screaming "Ami Sah Ko", And then suddenly smashing through the roof like they had been sent flying from the heavens were more Skeletons. I yelped and ran to Tiberius. Knowing he was a strong man. But then as he quickly wielded his sword the skeletons that were summonded around me came bursting through the doors and snarled a evil snarl, With rotting flesh hanging off their bones.
Tiberius suddenly roared the words "I fear not!", And with this he span around his sword and smashed through the horde of undead, Smashing their bones innocently to the floor. He then threw a knife at the ones at the door, And I punched a couple, The Skeletons were no more. But still hovering there, Were the two ghosts still screaming the loud "Ami Sah Ko". Tiverius tryed to swing through them finding that the sword just passed through them. I then thought quickly, And realised I had two jars in my backpack, I quickly oppened one up and swinged it at the ghost trapping him inside". Then did the same quickly with the other jar and ghost.
Tiberius grinned at me, Saying "Well, That Shud them up!", I then laughed and sighed in relive. I then ran outside and burnt the cloth watching ghosts going from the cloth into the air, T'was a scary sight. I then rushed over to the sea and lobbed the jars into the bottom of the sea, Hoping to never see them again.
And that, Lady's n' gents, Was what happened.. *Pants in releif*
