Title: Glen McBrae Post by: Henrich Beaufort on October 31, 2005, 12:04:29 am Glen McBrae, who lost his mother at an early age, had always lived with his father – a carpenter – in the outskirts of Yew. His father had accumulated little wealth, despite his skill at his trade, and so Glen had the misfortune of little education. Being a robust young man, Glen was only fifteen when he decided to become a Lumberjack to help his father by gathering fine woods from the forests of Yew.
Settling in well with this sort of work, it was only a couple of years later when Glen decided to not only help his father, but to sell his lumber to other Carpenters as a means of wealth for his father and himself. Often Glen would encounter beasts in the forests, from bears and stag to trolls and ettins. Over the years he gained valuable combat practice, leading to his decision to depart from his home to the town of Cove, where he would enlist into the Militia. *** Glen is a very tall, robust Axeman, towering at 7’1”. Grumpy at times, and weary on the odd occasion, old age is beginning to settle in. Overall, Glen is a friendly old chap, skilled with an axe and loyal to Cove. He will serve well. |
