This report has been submitted on the order of Father Odenetheus, Church Steward. I was commanded to write it after the Mass so I must humbly apologise for the lack of sketches and no list of those present. Upon entering the Church it was clear that there was some division amongst the templars and priests as to who was in charge. The squire to the late Preceptor Hugo seemed to believe he should be in charge, as did Church Steward Odenetheus and some contradictory commands were issued. Father Odenetheus, the Church Steward, had the support of the other Templar present and the matter was soon resolved by someone striking the squire to the ground. By the time he had been dragged off he still had not regained consciousness, leading to speculation that he had in fact been killed. This distraction removed, the Mass began. First of all we were invited to repent of our Sins during Confession. A new recruit seemed most put out by his penance and came dangerously close to heresy and Impudence against the Church. After Confession I was tasked to collect tithes from the Faithful. The Recruit mentioned above showed some reluctanct to Tithe but soon saw the Light and donated some paltry sum. After Mass the Recruit was spoken to outside the Church and was educated with tales of the fates that had befallen others who disrespected the Church and he soon repented of his ways.
