Title: A Cigarette Burn Post by: Ahmed on November 18, 2005, 08:09:55 pm Here we go *deep breath*...not sure if you can be fucked to read this, but I wrote it, so you better bother!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Lately, I've been swamped with work. Like actually swamped. If you could see my desk right now, I have trouble finding my speakers to get my angry music on while I write about the formation of mid-latitude depressions and their impacts over the British Isles and "The Great Storm" of 1987 *breathes heavily*, or writing about how feasible the use of the large reflecting sails on a space vehicle is. What I'm trying to say is that I just don't have enough time for this anymore. I got too much crap on my plate, and I just can't finish them in time. Getting the taste of the last year of College is really starting to be a pain in the arse, and I can't imagine how hard Uni' will be, since I'm applying to the UK and one Aussie Uni' and I've never been to that type of background or culture before; so I'm guessing I'll be crying holding my teddy dinosaur for the first few weeks. I've used this reason to leave before. I've left once in May, and went got two months and came back for the holiday. I then recently left for this reason again, and the fact that some other undisclosed matters were pissing me off, and I lasted around 50 days and then the wrath of Arkay got me back in. Now here we are, two/three weeks later, and I really just want to get the fuck out of this vicous spiral down, innit. The reason does sound kinda lame-o, but I really want to get an SL 65 AMG when I grow up, so if I want this £160k+ car I need to work my fucking arse off. Another reason for my leave, is probably one that only some of you will understand. I really can't be fucked anymore, heh. Not sure what's happened, but my motivated fell hard, plummeted down, and I can't seem to raise it. Believe me, I want to get it back up, get the ol' Ahmed-o-fier back into the machine he always was [insert ego inflation], but I can't. I'll have to stay as plain ol' Ramee for now. Yes, I do have a name, and no I'm not actually bald. Although there was this one ti-...ahem. It has been an HONOUR! An HONOUR I say working with the lot of you, and those who have come and gone. I must say, some of the old command really did make an impact, and they should be congratulated and thanked for what they have done for the good of the guild in their time. You lot who are still here, should be given a medal of honour and smiley-faced pizza. YOU are the people who make the guild. Command...YOU are the brains, and most of the cojones. YOU drove the guild forwards and dodged all the ice-bergs that happen to come along your way. YOU are uber. God, I sound fucking lame, but what can I do, I love ya'll. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eason/Suge: December we first spoke on ICQ, I felt the great aura which surrounds you. "Commander" I told myself, wow. I mean, the highest rank I've ever since was Captain, until I met you. You may have never been promoted in game, no matter how hard you tried, it was enough for you get promoted around ten fold in my eyes. You are a good friend, a bruddah'mon. I'll miss our late night DP rages, wrestling over the admin logs, and brain storming ways to make this guild even bigger than it already is. We even like the same music! Gwah! You my friend, are uber. I dedicate this final post, to you, and it's my 3000th post aswell, so eat my dust! There's alot more I'd like to say, but this is turning out to be longer than one of my geography essays, so I'll move along swiftly. Erik/Kevin: You are the devil. Although, a lovable one at that. I have to say, you've made so much out of your recent stay in cove, and you rocked it's world...hard. Always had a contribution you had, always had something good to say and do at the right moment. Bloody hell, you got a kool pad and a reasonably kool car, and you can bloody own most people in an open field with your bloody bow. You, are crowned uber aswell. You will be missed. Your talks about how *coughs* you were was always kinda fweaky, but also fucking hilarious. Fucking great heh. Need to move on swiftly again, I think my mummy may need to me to carry some stuff back in from the car. Grief/Robin/Kanter: Dude, Nocroxem rocked my Tel'mar fucking world. His RP was off the hook, and he was the only other brown dude along with me, as you were the only other bald man with me in BoC, a true bruddah'. We had an amazing time all the time, it was great. We held a campaign against OSI, and kinda won aswell heh. Talking about hot chicks but ungetable ones aswell was always fun, and you're one fucking amazing tavern owner, fighter, comedian in game and a house designer. If your house designs were women, they'd be up there with Lima mon. You, are uber, and will be my bruddah for ETERNITY!! Shadwell/Shaggers/Never really knew your real name: You had to two biggest buildings in Cove! I was thinking without those two plots, Cove would suck ass, and suck hard. Always a great person to roleplay with, because you made it fun, along with the rest of you. I love the spontaneous off the head roleplay that you lot need to introduce to the other middlings of the guild, but it's the best kind! You in UD rocked, and Grd if I remember correctly. You got it going on mon, and it's all for the right reasons, for fun. Wish I had that most of the time, but I get headaches instead when I fall behind on the admin work heh. You, are uber! Gwah! Valiro/Martin?: We never really got to spend that much time together, but the time we had, I cherish it. You always had the best training ideas and methods, which even had the oldie command on their toes. You are probably also one of the best potion cugging assassin without poison I've seen. Loved the way you played Valiro, fairly sophisticated aswell, kool in many aspects. If you were constantly on, you would be and even better asset to the guild than you are now. Your expertise could be used very well in the trainings of the n00blets. You are uber, and are a teacher by profession. Rest of Command: This includes Drachir, Byron, Izzy and Kazou? You lot all gave your time, your own time in order to give complete strangers who you have never even met before and had a nice pint of pepsi with, a WONDERFULLY AMAZINGLY AWESOME TIME! Which is why I got respect for each and every one of you sodden moss land rats. Stay with it, get with it, and you'll be as uber as those stated above. So here, I crown you 99.9% uber, and that last 0.1% won't be so hard gaining if you just listen to the wise men of the guild. Not sure if you're reading this Tib/Oct/Camlo, but thanks for the adventure *tips cap*. Ryan/Daelin/Liam, where ever the FUCK you are, thanks for all the fun we've had, it was a treat, and a pleasure. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thank you everyone else for all the fun, you all made my stay a fucking amazing time. I started out in Cove in November, although none of you probably have heard of me, since my character name back then was "Rammstein", while Ahmed was still loyal to Tel'mar. When that crashed and burned in February, it was the best decision to guild Ahmed. I was a Junior guardsman for so fucking long, because none of the command bothered to throw a Junior course, quite like now!! I made Command I think at the beginning of July, and everything from there took off, and I really did try my best to make it a good time for everyone...everyone. This will probably be the official deprature of my legacy, and I hope I've done you all proud in one way or the other. If not...meh to you! I've tried my best, I've given it my all, and I'm happy with what I've produced and given to the guild, along with my long hours of admining. Pain in the fucking arse I swear, good luck to who ever takes up on it, heh. Love me or hate me, I've left a cigarette burn here, and even though I don't smoke or drink, I think that sounded kool. Well, this was probably longer than most average GCSE Science courseworks, so I think I'm going to stop now. I'm turning off my ICQ for good, because I know if it's turned on, I'll get sucked straight back in, which would SUCK ARSE! UO is a disease, and you all know it. This is a big step for me, even though it sounds lame as arse. So good bye, ma'a salama, ciao, au revoir, too-the fuck-dles. You will all be missed. Ahmed has left the building. Sincerely, Ramee - Player of Ahmed/Serj/Bald Bruddah/Wannabe Smash Bruddah/Admin Peon/Baldie November '04 - November '05 1584 words Title: Re: A Cigarette Burn Post by: Shadwell on November 18, 2005, 08:36:43 pm *Salutes*
Hail to thee! The ruler of baldness, destroyer of boredom, King of spamm and trusted online friend! I hope you will come back one day! The fun we had this year was ACE. Have a good one. I've got this suspicion we'll meet again! Title: Re: A Cigarette Burn Post by: Gregor Eason on November 18, 2005, 08:37:06 pm ...
Well. Man. Its hard to find words to say. You've been a true friend, and always will be. Your contributions to BoC and commitment, even in the darkest of times, has been incredible. I understand why you must go. And it is a good reason. I wish you the very best with your studies. And if you ever drop by London, let me know. Good luck, Ramee. Launch yourself into the new world. Do not look back. For we will be with you, always. Eason/Surya Title: Re: A Cigarette Burn Post by: Damas on November 18, 2005, 08:45:39 pm It's been a pleasure. Good luck, Ramee.
Title: Re: A Cigarette Burn Post by: Smedly Herbwood on November 18, 2005, 09:16:49 pm Was a sad day when T*M fell apart and people fell out of touch, and its sadder still that you will be departing after I have only been in BoC with you a short time. Good decision to put your studies before this UO malarky, and the best of luck in pursuing your education/career.
I am returning to uni next year so might bump into you in some coincidental trans-uni romp ;) Title: Re: A Cigarette Burn Post by: Delcarakdur on November 18, 2005, 10:46:14 pm It's been a honor teh serve ye sir!
