When: 28th Jan 2006, 01:00Hrs Where: Barracks Roof, Cove Commanding Officer: Vincent Redfield, Watchman In Attendance: Max O'Munpain, Guardsman Recruit Edmund Rufus, Guardsman Recruit Having answered a call to arms Max O'Munpain and I instead found ourselves on the barracks roof preparing for battle training under the guidance of Watchman Redfield Setting us in combat against each other he observed as we fought. After a few minutes we were called back into order and roundly chastized for not driving home our advantage saying"Ye don't run away to heal it's kill kill kill lad", and for relying on one weapon and bleed attack (a side effect of which was to so bloodsoak my sketch pad that all pictures of the event are lost) Watchman Redfield then demonstrated the use of dual weapons to vary our attack. Both of us understood this readily and took to it well. Next Max and I were set to fight as a team, dressing each others wounds. This took a little longer to master but eventually we were standing side by fighting as one against our teacher. Here Watchman Redfield called a halt to the training and, marching from the training square left us with the words "Next time lads, it's skirmishing!" ringing in our ears.
