Title: Royal Marksmen Activity Post by: Leofwin Edmundson on February 19, 2006, 12:37:32 am Intelligence Report: Royal Marksmen Activity
When 18th February 2006 23:00Hrs Where Britain Moongate, Minoc Moongate & Vesper In Attendance Edmund Rufus, Watchman My mentor Jenifer Feather had told me “If yer want ta be in tha Light Company you’d best learn to move unseen” and followed on by explaining how this could be achieved with camouflage, use of the shadows and so forth. My first efforts had been clumsy but I have persevered with my practice and my most recent session suddenly became very real. I was approaching the Britain moongate, lying on my belly keeping in the grass for cover with a thin layer of brush over me, when two uniformed men stepped out of the gate. I recognised their insignia as that of the Royal Marksmen and was about to dash for the gate and make my escape when I realised they had not seen me so I stayed close to see what they were up to......... (http://img157.imageshack.us/img157/6613/17mc2.jpg) I edged closer to hear them better, my heart pounding in my chest like a war hammer. Turns out they were heading to the Minoc moongate. I was intrigued and so a few moments after they stepped through I followed. (http://img155.imageshack.us/img155/5958/tominoc4we.jpg) Their conversation revealed no more of their plans and they moved off at a forced march toward Vesper.
