Perhaps if we push back Grd, the Baronship could occupy Minoc in a friendly "you have no government" way.

What USA tried to do with Iraq, just make it actualy work and without killing more British Soldiers than terrorists...

Erhh.. If the Baron would occupy anything it wouldnt be in a "You have no goverment" way  :P

Those blasted Minocians would pay every penny they have in taxes! And they'd have to work the mines till they DIE!

At the moment the Britannia Guards holds Minoc.  There has been several small BoC/KH/-V- attacks on Minoc.  The royalists has also attacked several small patrols and scouts from Cove.

The core of the conflict around Minoc is that everyone wants to hold it, for numerous reasons.  The City of Minoc holds an important role in Britannia as the industrial capital of the north with its resource-rich mines and mountains surrounding it.  From a royalistic point of view, Minoc is an important crown city of the Kingdom and gives the royalists a good base and presence in the north.

I can imagine the free people of the north wanting it for the precise same reasons:  land, resources and preventing a royalist presence in the north.

For more updates on the Minoc situation, feel free to both read and post in this thread:

Also with an active presence in Minoc we have ourselves a very interesting situation!

Three hubs of activity in a relative small area!
