A wild goose chase, or a case of the no-shows? Either way, his is my (short) report of the assignment I was given.

I was given an assignment by Captain Shadwell to investigate the presence of a tribal folk near Altmere, and to train them to be fighting fit, so's 'em can join our army! After the battle Slaughter took place with the Britannians, I gathered a few men and went to investigate.

A fortification was still there, with some dead monsters and animals, signs people had been there. We waited around, however, and only encountered minor annoyances such as brigands and ettins.

All in all, the investigation was inconclusive.
