Title: *a note pinned to the Stronghold gates* Post by: Arma Renox on March 13, 2006, 09:26:05 am Geit sighed, steadying himself with one hand as he made his way down the creaky wooden stairs to his cabin. Settling at a desk he took out pen and quill, trying hard to maintain a steady hand as the waves rocked the small passenger boat.
'I guess I'd better leave something fer now...' he thought to himself, scribbling the following note. "To all, I have some personal matters to attend to, so I will be taking a short trip. Apologies for not leaving a message before I left; as you may have guessed I am already absent and have been travelling for a few days. I simply did not have the time before I had to depart. I'll be leaving the Stronghold open as always, so keep it tidy and nay muddy boots inside! *signed* -Geit-" He scribbled his name, rolled the parchment, and attached it to the foot of a hawk that sat patiently in its cage, seemingly oblivious to the crashing of the waves outside. He opened a window and released the bird outside, hoping he would find his way to Cove. [OOC: I'm taking a break from UO for a few days; trying to avoid getting sick of it after having played for 12 hours a day most days recently. I'm still here though, so if I'm needed for any big battles, or for anything regarding the stronghold, don't hesitate to give me a shout!] |
